Training

Your training camp will take place in the artificial lake of Albufeira de Castelo de Bode. This lake has an extension of over 40km making it one of the largest watersheds in Portugal. Current is almost non-existent and the high banks of the river provide a natural shield from the wind. These features combine to create phenomenal conditions for the practice of rowing.

Your experience can be fully customisable, but to ensure the best camp experience, we recommend a maximum of 8 athletes and minimum of 3 training days with 6 sessions on the water.

Even before you get to the center we will ask for your measurements so we can rig the boat according to your specific needs and remove any external influences that can impair your technique.

In every session technical videos will be filmed and every day they will be reviewed individually with each athlete.

The training center is equipped with four single sculls and one double scull witch are available for every athlete that decides to visit us. If another type of boat or more boats are required, arrangements will be made upon request.
