After this course, students will have gained more knowledge and experience as a sailor. In this course we will deepen the concepts and nomenclatures already discussed previously and the level of demand in learning will be higher.
Theoretical Aspects:
- Boat Stability - Weight aboard
- Nomenclature adopted aboard - continuation
- Sails - Names, sides and corners of sails
- "Points of Sail"- continuation
- Reefs (1st reef, 2nd reef)
- Tell Tales - "reading" the sails
- Navigation Rules (RIEAM / RRV) - continuation
Practical Aspects:
- Weight on Board - correct positions of the sailors
- Identifying of fixed and working cables
- Knots aboard
- Practical application of "Points of Sail" at the sails and the helm by "reading" the sails.
- Cleaning and storage of material
